Sherman D. Roberts

Professor Roberts is the Founding Academic Director of the Oxford Programme on Negotiation at University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. He served as Director of Executive Seminars at Harvard’s Kennedy School from 1996-2003, where his programs attracted over 8,000 participants during his tenure. In 1999, while at Harvard, he founded The Ivy Faculty Consortium, an executive education network of professors from Harvard, Princeton, Chicago, UC Berkeley, and other Ivy League and Ivy Caliber universities including three Nobel Laureates. Prior to Harvard, he was Deputy Director and Director of Executive Education at the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies (1990 to 1996). Since 1980 he has taught executive, graduate, and undergraduate courses and provided consulting services to clients on all six populated continents. His research interests are negotiation, leadership, and fundamental processes of human performance.
